The coolest thing about Digital products is that they can be downloaded immediately after purchase and provide instant gratification to information seekers. An eBook or electronic book can be sold over and over again… the sales are completely unlimited and are dependant on your expertise and content. But, creating a GREAT product takes time and talent.
One of the quickest and easiest way to creating eBooks is through the use of PLR content. Unrestricted Private Label Rights give you the permission to write the eBook, report or article as the author. Just think about it. The author has done all the research and basically all the hard work. All you need to do is rewrite the content and add your own insight and authority to it and polish it off. You could of course simply rewrite the title, throw your name on as the author and sell it, but this is not recommended. It ends up being just another rehashed PLR product that your buyer may not appreciate. Especially if he or she has already read the content somewhere else.
When an author sells a PLR article product he sells that same package to many buyers. If all those people where to use the content exactly as sold there would be an awful lot of duplicate content floating around on the Web. Not to mention a lot of unhappy buyers. By using PLR products, you can, do away with writers block and get some new ideas. You should rewrite at least 50% if not 95% of the original article. In the end you can create a complete new product and you set yourself ahead of the pack.
Tips on how to edit your PLR Products:
- Gather a collection of Private Label Content on your topic, use snippets or best chapters from different PLR content and merge into one unique Info Product.
- Convert PLR articles into a tips-oriented e-Book. Transform elaborated content into easy to understand points for easier understanding.
- Add your own Author Resource page to the beginning or end of the Info Product.
- Throw in a few lines of your own expert opinions at certain parts of the contents.
- Compile and organize a series of Private Label Articles into a unique paid e-Book.
Tips on making money from your PLR products
- Insert your affiliate links into your Info Product. Don’t over do it! No one likes to read an information product with a bunch of sales pitches thrown at them. Do it so it looks natural.
- If you’re already going to sell an Info Product, here’s your chance at making additional sales: as soon as your customer pays for the main product, offer them a PLR based OTO
- Don’t forget to monetize your back-end -Thank You Page – with affiliate recommendations or throw in other Private Labeled products created by you.
- Come up with a barrage of free reports created with PLR products. Be sure that each free report has a link back to your website in which you can capture leads. Distribute it to e-Book directories or Giveaways.
- Not game for free reports and want to make money right away? Don’t give them away for free; beef up your e-Books and offer Master Resell Rights then sell them. They will be eventually resold by your customers with your name and URL in those e-Books, which means more traffic for you.
- If you’re an avid collector of Private Label Rights, and if you are allowed to resell them, you can very well start a paid membership site and charge a fee to your members for downloading them. This is done quite competitively, but there’s still plenty of money to be made here!
